Worked on enhancing service exposure configuration within the uselagoon/lagoon-charts repository, focusing on Kubernetes environments managed with Helm. Developed a feature that allows flexible configuration of SSH, SSH Portal, SSH Token, and Broker services, enabling per-service annotations and options for externalTrafficPolicy and loadBalancerSourceRanges. This approach provided operators with granular control over how services are exposed, improving both security and governance across multiple environments. The implementation relied on YAML for configuration and leveraged Kubernetes best practices to ensure compliance and observability. The work addressed the need for customizable service exposure, supporting more secure and maintainable infrastructure management in Lagoon deployments.
