Worked on enhancing the 0xJacky/nginx-ui project by implementing German language localization, focusing on both the technical setup and repository hygiene. Established the de_DE locale with initial PO translation files and configured internationalization infrastructure to ensure UI strings resolved correctly for German users. The approach included updating the LINGUAS file and directory structure to support scalable localization, making future additions straightforward. Additionally, removed obsolete and empty localization artifacts to streamline the codebase and reduce maintenance overhead. Utilized skills in internationalization, localization, and PO file management, delivering both a new feature and a bug fix within a single month’s contribution.
