Developed a new syslog feature that adds support for the %m format specifier, enabling automatic inclusion of errno-based error messages using strerror for clearer diagnostics. Leveraged C programming, POSIX standards, and system programming expertise to strengthen portability and reliability, ultimately reducing integration risks and debugging time for cross-platform deployments in embedded environments.
