Worked on improving the OAuth authentication flow within the modelcontextprotocol/typescript-sdk repository, focusing on enhancing the reliability of token exchanges. Addressed an issue where inconsistent server responses during OAuth token negotiation led to intermittent failures by explicitly setting the Accept header to application/json in the TypeScript codebase. This adjustment ensured that token responses consistently adhered to the expected JSON format, streamlining API integration and reducing troubleshooting complexity. Leveraged TypeScript and a strong understanding of HTTP protocol negotiation to deliver a more robust OAuth implementation, ultimately supporting more stable identity integrations and improving the overall developer experience for downstream consumers of the SDK.
