Developed an end-to-end solution for deploying a self-hosted Forgejo Git service within Proxmox VE containers, focusing on the community-scripts/ProxmoxVED repository. Leveraging DevOps practices, shell scripting, and system administration skills, the work centered on automating the installation, configuration, and management of Forgejo on Alpine Linux containers. The approach included scripting for both initial setup and ongoing updates, ensuring the Git service could be reliably deployed and maintained with minimal manual intervention. Service management was integrated to support consistent startup and monitoring, addressing the need for repeatable, containerized Git hosting directly within Proxmox VE environments over the course of the month.
