Developed and delivered a Dynamic Tariff Provider for Octopus Energy Germany within the evcc-io/evcc repository, enabling dynamic electricity pricing data access for user accounts through a GraphQL API. The work involved designing a modular backend architecture in Go, implementing secure authentication flows, and building robust rate fetching and configuration parsing logic. This feature established a scalable foundation for integrating additional German tariff providers and supports cost-optimization workflows for electric vehicle charging. Throughout the month, the focus remained on feature delivery, code quality, and reliability, with no major bugs reported and comprehensive testing ensuring the stability of the new integration.
