Worked on the xmake-io/xmake-repo project to enhance the user experience for CMake-based builds by relocating a critical build warning from the on_load phase to the on_install phase. This adjustment ensured that users received installation guidance at the most relevant time, helping them configure packages correctly and reducing post-installation issues. The feature was implemented using Lua scripting, with a focus on build systems and package management workflows. Collaboration with a co-author ensured accurate messaging and behavior during installation. The work emphasized stability, clear developer workflows, and thorough commit documentation to support future maintenance and traceability within the repository.
