Worked on the xmake-io/xmake-repo repository to address a bug affecting Minizip package installation within the XMake build system. Focused on improving build reliability, the work involved fixing an import error that previously prevented access to xmake.version during the on_install process. By enabling proper version checking, the update ensured that Minizip could be installed end-to-end as a managed dependency. The solution was implemented using Lua and leveraged expertise in build systems and package management. This targeted fix enhanced the repository’s dependency management workflow, contributing to more robust and predictable builds without introducing new features during the development period.
