Worked on the ISPP-G-8/infantem repository to standardize English terminology across domain models and the intake module, focusing on improving codebase maintainability and reducing misinterpretation risks. The effort involved renaming domain models from Spanish to English, such as converting Alergeno to Allergen and Usuario to User, and refactoring the intake module package and related classes. Introduced a new FoodCategory enum and removed obsolete enums and repositories to decrease technical debt. Leveraged Java, Spring Boot, and JPA for backend development and refactoring, ensuring greater consistency and lowering cognitive load for future development and cross-team collaboration within the project.
