Worked on the bluesky/tiled repository to enhance the security and reliability of command-line API key workflows. Addressed a critical authentication bug in the CLI, ensuring that API key functions now require proper authentication and are compatible with the Zarr API. Improved input validation for API key expiration dates, reducing the risk of user errors and strengthening the overall security posture. Utilized Python and Markdown to implement these backend and CLI improvements, focusing on robust error handling and clear messaging. The changes minimized authentication errors and user disruption, resulting in more dependable CLI operations and reduced support overhead for API users.
