During July 2025, Jaishima focused on enhancing the security and reliability of the bluesky/tiled repository by addressing a critical authentication issue in the command-line API key workflow. Using Python and leveraging backend development and API development skills, Jaishima implemented a bug fix that ensured proper authentication and updated the workflow for Zarr API compatibility. The solution also included improved input validation for API key expiration dates, reducing the risk of user errors and strengthening the overall CLI experience. This targeted engineering work improved operational trust and minimized support overhead, reflecting a thoughtful approach to maintaining robust, user-friendly backend systems.
