During July 2025, Jaishima focused on backend and API development for the bluesky/tiled repository, addressing a critical authentication issue in the command-line interface for API key management. Using Python and Markdown, Jaishima implemented a bug fix that improved the reliability of CLI authentication workflows, updated compatibility with the Zarr API, and enhanced input validation for API key expiration dates. This work reduced authentication errors and prevented expiration-related issues, directly improving security and operational trust for CLI users. The changes demonstrated careful attention to error handling and user experience, resulting in a more robust and maintainable backend authentication process.
