Worked on the HHS/simpler-grants-gov repository, focusing on refining the user interface and improving deployment reliability. Addressed two high-priority bugs by correcting the alignment of success messages in modal components and fixing a typo in the saved queries description, which enhanced both UI clarity and user experience. Improved Storybook deployment by resolving image path issues for GitHub Pages, ensuring assets rendered correctly in production. Utilized JavaScript, TypeScript, and React to implement these changes, with attention to documentation and UI/UX best practices. The work emphasized stability and content accuracy, contributing to a more polished and reliable frontend for end users.
