Worked on the tf-nira/registration-client and tf-nira/artifactory-ref-impl repositories to enhance registration slip generation and internationalization for thermal printer workflows. Delivered features enabling acknowledgment slips to include new applicant fields and improved QR code content, ensuring accurate data capture and better scan reliability. Implemented logic to select templates for residents outside Uganda and updated constants for consistency across printing processes. Addressed readability by defaulting empty demographic fields to 'N/A' and added localization support for foreign country names. Utilized Java, Spring Boot, and properties files to manage backend logic, constants, and internationalization, focusing on robust, maintainable backend development.
