Weerasinghe worked on the Company-B-MSD/tripmate repository, delivering a foundational Business Registration and Management REST API for the platform. Using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA Repository, he established the backend data access layer for business entities, enabling reliable onboarding and lifecycle management. His technical approach included implementing a repository interface to search businesses by email, category, and name, as well as to check for existence and active status. This work provided the essential scaffolding for scalable business entity management and downstream workflows. The depth of the contribution lies in laying a robust groundwork for future platform extensibility and reliability.
