Worked on the eclipse-openj9/openj9 repository to deliver cross-platform OpenSSL bundling within the build process, standardizing the inclusion of OpenSSL across multiple architectures such as ppc64le_linux, s390x_linux, ppc64_aix, x86_64_linux, and aarch64_linux. Leveraged build engineering and CI/CD skills to ensure consistent security and dependency management, removing platform-specific gaps and enabling uniform handling of OpenSSL. Utilized YAML to update build configurations, which improved CI reliability and accelerated release cycles. The work focused on enhancing the security posture and streamlining multi-architecture builds, resulting in a more robust and maintainable build pipeline for the project.
