Developed and delivered the Monitee-Agent system monitoring feature within the truenas/apps repository, enabling comprehensive visibility into Docker containers, storage devices, and system temperatures. The implementation focused on configuration management using Python and YAML, with careful attention to defining network-specific ports and resource limits to ensure optimal performance and minimal resource footprint. This work established a foundational layer for future enhancements in metrics collection and alerting, directly supporting improved operational observability and platform reliability. By integrating system monitoring capabilities, the project enhanced the ability to track resource usage and environmental conditions, supporting ongoing maintenance and scalability for the application ecosystem.
