Worked on enhancing the Jellyfin Web client by delivering Brazilian Portuguese localization updates, focusing on improving accessibility and user experience for Brazilian users. Utilized JavaScript and the Weblate platform to streamline the translation workflow, ensuring that UI strings were accurately localized for the pt_BR audience. The contribution was implemented through a single, targeted commit to the jellyfin/jellyfin-web repository, aligning with ongoing internationalization efforts. This work addressed onboarding and usability challenges for non-English speakers, reinforcing the project’s commitment to global accessibility. The approach demonstrated a methodical integration of translation updates, supporting the broader localization roadmap without introducing new bug fixes.
