Worked on the jellyfin/jellyfin repository to deliver a key localization feature, integrating Simplified Chinese translations to enhance accessibility for Chinese-speaking users. Utilized JSON for translation files and established a streamlined workflow with Weblate, enabling efficient future contributions to the project’s localization efforts. The work focused on expanding the product’s reach and improving the onboarding experience for a broader audience, particularly those using Chinese (Simplified). Emphasized open source collaboration and translation best practices, ensuring that the new language support was both maintainable and scalable. No bug fixes were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and workflow setup.
