Worked on the bazelbuild/bazel repository to deliver a Privacy-Safe Output Option, enabling users to omit command-line arguments from build and log outputs. This feature was implemented using Java and backend development skills, directly addressing concerns about sensitive information leakage in CI and build pipelines. The approach focused on enhancing privacy by making the omission of run arguments configurable, aligning with security best practices and organizational privacy goals. All changes were clearly documented and traceable, supporting future audits and improvements. The work closed a key issue and contributed to a more secure logging posture without introducing regressions or impacting existing workflows.
