This targeted cleanup improved maintainability and enabled faster triage for new issues, supporting a more efficient onboarding experience for contributors. Although no user-facing bugs were addressed during this period, Leigh’s work demonstrated a methodical approach to technical debt reduction and reinforced best practices in repository maintenance and change control.
