Worked on the questdb/questdb repository to enhance the SQL parser’s error handling for complex queries. Focused on resolving a bug where statements containing multiple WHERE clauses led to misreported errors, the work involved refining parser logic in Java to accurately detect and report unexpected tokens. This targeted fix improved the robustness of error reporting, making it easier for developers to debug complex SQL statements and reducing the likelihood of incorrect error messages in production environments. Leveraging skills in parser development, error handling, and SQL, the contribution strengthened the reliability of the parser and improved the overall user experience.
