Worked on the grafana/prometheus repository to address a navigation issue related to redirect URL construction when web.routePrefix is configured. Focused on backend development using Go, the developer delivered a targeted bug fix that ensures redirect logic now respects the RoutePrefix setting, thereby reducing navigation errors and improving user experience in deployments with custom route prefixes. The solution involved careful handling of UI/UX edge cases and route-aware URL construction, with an emphasis on concise commit hygiene for traceability. This work enhanced the reliability of redirects and provided a maintainable patch suitable for release notes, demonstrating attention to risk mitigation and deployment consistency.
