Liyang Wang contributed to the ibm-skills-network/author-workbench-knowledgebase repository by focusing on DevOps and security automation over a two-month period. Liyang streamlined the CI/CD pipeline by removing redundant workflow configurations, reducing maintenance overhead and clarifying the build process. Using JSON for configuration management, Liyang also enhanced the project’s security posture by enabling Static Application Security Testing (SAST) on the master branch through Whitesource integration. These changes improved early vulnerability detection and compliance with secure development practices.
