Worked on the ibm-skills-network/author-workbench-knowledgebase repository to streamline CI/CD processes and enhance security automation. Focused on simplifying the repository’s continuous integration setup by removing redundant workflow files and documenting the rationale for these changes, which reduced maintenance overhead and build noise. Later, enabled Static Application Security Testing (SAST) on the master branch by updating Whitesource configuration, thereby improving the project’s security posture and reducing the risk of vulnerabilities in mainline code. Demonstrated proficiency in DevOps practices, security scanning, and configuration management, primarily working with JSON for workflow and security tool configuration throughout the two-month contribution period.
