Worked on the KelvinTegelaar/CIPP repository to enhance the settings module by introducing strict alphanumeric validation for role names. This feature was implemented using React and JavaScript, leveraging regular expressions to enforce input constraints directly within the front end. The approach provided immediate, user-friendly feedback to prevent invalid entries, thereby improving data integrity and reducing the risk of inconsistent role naming. The validation logic was delivered in a single, focused commit, laying the groundwork for broader input validation across the product. This work demonstrated attention to user experience and maintainability, with a clear focus on robust front end development practices.
