During January 2025, Luis developed device support for the Confiabits MT7621 v1 within the coolsnowwolf/immortalwrt repository, focusing on embedded systems and Linux kernel development using C. He authored a Device Tree Source to define hardware configuration, including GPIOs for buttons and LEDs, SPI flash partitions, and network interfaces. Luis integrated this support into the build system and network scripts, enabling automated builds and deployment for the new device. His work expanded ImmortalWrt’s hardware compatibility and established a foundation for future Confiabits variants, demonstrating depth in hardware integration and device onboarding within open-source firmware development workflows.
