Worked on enhancing citation metadata and licensing presentation for the open-energy-transition/pypsa-earth repository, focusing on improving scholarly attribution and project discoverability. Delivered a formal citation.cff file with auto-generated metadata, integrated ORCID identifiers for contributors, and added a DOI badge to support consistent citation practices. Improved the CITATION.cff presentation by including detailed licensing and copyright information, and addressed a badge rendering issue while adding linter notes to guide future edits. Utilized Markdown and YAML to manage documentation and metadata, applying skills in documentation, licensing, and metadata management. These updates reinforced reproducibility, compliance, and user guidance for the project’s research community.
