In January 2025, Luca Pecile developed Azure Fabric Capacity Monitoring Policies within the microsoft/fabric-toolbox repository, focusing on proactive governance for Microsoft Fabric. He designed two Azure Policies using JSON to monitor capacity suspension and deletion events, integrating automated Azure Monitor Activity Log Alerts to notify administrators in real time. This approach reduced manual monitoring effort and improved operational visibility by ensuring timely awareness of critical capacity changes. Leveraging Azure Monitor and Azure Policy, Luca’s work provided a targeted solution for capacity management, demonstrating depth in cloud governance automation and a clear understanding of Microsoft Fabric’s operational requirements within enterprise environments.
