In March 2025, Samah Hameed developed an automation solution for deployment pipelines in the microsoft/fabric-samples repository, focusing on streamlining Fabric environment provisioning. Using PowerShell, Samah built a script that programmatically creates and deploys pipelines, automates workspace assignments across development and production, and initiates deployment of all supported items. The implementation incorporated robust error handling and polling mechanisms to manage long-running operations, aligning with DevOps and cloud computing best practices. This work reduced manual intervention, accelerated deployment timelines, and ensured consistent, auditable pipeline management. The depth of the solution demonstrated strong skills in API integration, automation, and CI/CD pipeline concepts.
