Worked on the RedHatInsights/notifications-backend repository to deliver granular subscription deduplication, enhancing the deduplication key by incorporating service level and usage attributes. This approach enabled more precise event handling and improved differentiation across notification streams, directly reducing duplicate notifications and supporting SLA-aware routing. Focused on backend development using Java, the work emphasized stability, performance, and maintainability, with no critical bugs reported during the period. Unit testing was applied to ensure reliability and robust downstream processing. The feature addressed business needs for more accurate event routing and contributed to a more maintainable and efficient backend notification infrastructure.
