Worked on the DFE-Digital/care-leavers repository to deliver PAL metadata tracking for deployment principals, addressing the need for improved Microsoft partner tracking and cost-management metrics. Developed logic in YAML to ensure that PAL metadata is consistently set on deployment principals, allowing Microsoft to accurately differentiate solutions partners without altering access permissions or service behavior. The implementation focused on metadata handling and ensured that the deployment user is linked to the correct management partner number. Leveraged Azure and CI/CD practices to integrate these changes, resulting in enhanced billing visibility and partner metrics while maintaining the integrity and isolation of existing service operations.
