
Worked on the aau-giraf/foodplanner-api repository, delivering six new features and one bug fix over three months with a focus on security, maintainability, and robust authentication. Enhanced secret management by migrating JWT token handling to Infisical and reorganized code for better maintainability. Overhauled authentication and authorization, introducing password-based login, multi-role RBAC, and OTP-based flows using C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL. Implemented end-to-end OTP binding for parent-child accounts, including validation, cascade delete, and comprehensive test coverage. Improved API stability by standardizing error responses, refactoring controllers to use interfaces, and tightening RESTful route definitions for clearer error signaling.
