Worked on the aau-giraf/foodplanner-api and related repositories to deliver end-to-end meal management features, focusing on privacy, security, and performance. Developed enhanced APIs for meal and ingredient retrieval, integrating user-scoped access and role-based as well as policy-based authorization. Addressed data model consistency, removed hard-coded credentials, and modernized the data access layer using C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core. Improved backend robustness by fixing null reference issues and optimizing data fetching with asynchronous programming. Upgraded testing infrastructure to include authentication coverage and secure secret handling, while integrating frontend meal creation flows with backend services using Dart and Flutter.
