Developed a channel specification extension template for the Shopify/extensions-templates repository, focusing on modularizing channel configurations by country. The approach separated each country’s configuration into individual TOML files, all referenced from a central base TOML, which streamlines future expansions and reduces maintenance complexity. A comprehensive README was included to document the extension’s purpose, usage, and organizational benefits, enhancing clarity for future contributors. The work leveraged skills in configuration management and template development, utilizing Liquid and TOML to implement a scalable structure. This update improved maintainability and scalability of channel configurations, providing a clear baseline for ongoing enhancements in the repository.
