Worked on the elastic/ecs repository to deliver the Entity Store RFC Stage 1 enhancements, focusing on extending the entity schema to support standardized IT environment telemetry. Used Markdown for technical documentation and followed the RFC process to promote RFC 49, introducing new schema fields such as last_seen_timestamp, id, and metrics. Updated and clarified documentation to guide ECS producers on field usage and to highlight the benefits of a unified entity representation. This work established a foundation for future schema evolution, improved data consistency, and facilitated easier integration for IT environments, demonstrating technical writing and schema design skills throughout the process.
