During February 2025, Haesbaert integrated the MirBSD Korn Shell (mksh) package into the chimera-linux/cports repository, delivering a complete packaging workflow from configuration to installation. The work involved writing build scripts and configuration files in Shell and Python, ensuring the package shipped with user-friendly default settings. By automating the packaging process and providing clear installation documentation, Haesbaert improved maintainability and consistency across the cports ecosystem. This contribution expanded the available package catalog and reduced setup time for users. The project demonstrated skills in build systems, package management, and shell scripting, with a focus on automation and configuration management best practices.
