Worked on the bpftrace/bpftrace repository to implement namespace-aware PID and TID functionality, enabling users to specify either the init or current PID namespace for process identification functions. This feature was developed using C and C++ with a focus on BPF and system programming principles. The approach included updating documentation and adding comprehensive tests to validate behavior across different namespace scenarios, ensuring reliability and clarity for future contributors. By enhancing test coverage and improving onboarding materials, the work addressed cross-namespace stability and usability, reflecting a methodical engineering process centered on maintainability, correctness, and clear communication within the codebase and supporting resources.
