Worked on the codersforcauses/wajo repository to deliver a database schema migration update focused on the Quiz QuestionAttempt and User models. Used Django and Python to introduce new migrations, replacing legacy structures and aligning school and student user fields with updated models for improved schema consistency. Prioritized data integrity by ensuring comprehensive migration test coverage, reducing the risk of inconsistencies during quiz operations and user data handling. This work enabled smoother deployments and laid the groundwork for future analytics and reporting features. Demonstrated expertise in database migration and Django ORM, with an emphasis on maintainability and safe, reliable schema evolution.
