Worked on the openshift-kni/cnf-features-deploy repository to enhance multi-location backup visibility within OpenShift CNF features deployment. Developed a feature that introduced OadpBackupStorageLocationStatus naming conventions, enabling per-location status tracking and clearer resource identification when multiple backup locations are defined in the OadpDataProtectionApplication custom resource. Leveraged DevOps practices and Kubernetes expertise, utilizing yaml to update the source custom resource so that metadata names are consistently reflected. This approach improved observability and maintainability by aligning status tracking with resource naming, reducing confusion in complex backup scenarios and supporting more reliable operations in environments with multiple backup storage locations.
