Worked on the kubernetes/kubernetes repository to address build reliability for the addon-manager component. Focused on stabilizing the build process by updating the base image to a newer version, which resolved a persistent build failure and improved overall compatibility. Utilized skills in build automation, containerization, and DevOps practices to ensure the addon-manager could be built consistently across environments. The technical approach involved modifying Makefile configurations to integrate the updated image seamlessly. This work contributed to a more stable CI pipeline and reduced maintenance overhead for the project, demonstrating a practical application of containerization and automation in large-scale open source infrastructure.
