Zihongz worked on the kubernetes/kubernetes repository, focusing on stabilizing the addon-manager build process during March 2025. To address a recurring build failure, Zihongz updated the base image for the addon-manager, ensuring compatibility with newer dependencies and improving overall build reliability. This work involved expertise in build automation and containerization, leveraging Makefile to orchestrate the build steps and manage dependencies efficiently. By resolving a critical bug affecting the build pipeline, Zihongz contributed to a more stable and maintainable DevOps workflow. The scope of work was targeted and technical, emphasizing depth in troubleshooting and infrastructure reliability rather than feature development.
