In August 2025, Madmath developed a hardware-aware UI enhancement for the pqrs-org/KE-complex_modifications repository, focusing on Mac keyboard illumination control. The feature enabled users on Apple Silicon Macs to adjust keyboard brightness using CMD+F1 and CMD+F2, closely mirroring native macOS behavior and addressing user expectations for newer hardware. Madmath implemented this functionality using HTML and front end development techniques, ensuring seamless integration with the existing complex_modifications framework. The work demonstrated a targeted approach to feature delivery, prioritizing compatibility and user experience. While the scope was limited to a single feature, the solution addressed a clear need for Mac users.
