Worked on refining the Obsidian Notebook export workflow in the nerds-odd-e/doughnut repository, focusing on both terminology consistency and test reliability. Updated the feature’s naming from “download” to “export” throughout the codebase, ensuring all end-to-end tests written in Gherkin and TypeScript reflected this change. Adjusted the test automation scope by disabling three notebook export scenarios, reducing unnecessary test noise and aligning coverage with the new terminology. Emphasized release readiness by tightening test boundaries and improving maintainability. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to refactoring and end-to-end testing, prioritizing clarity and alignment across both implementation and automated test suites.
