Developed a dynamic Message of the Day (MOTD) feature for the hpi-schul-cloud/infra-ansible-collections repository, replacing the previous static MOTD approach. Leveraged Ansible and Jinja2 templating in YAML to create a configurable, template-driven welcome message that is displayed at login via PAM configuration. This solution streamlined user onboarding by allowing environment-specific customization and ensured that important information is consistently presented to users upon access. The work focused on system administration tasks, emphasizing maintainability and adaptability across deployments. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering this single, targeted feature enhancement for improved user experience.
