Worked on the membraneframework/boombox repository to improve the stability and reliability of its command-line interface for transcoding controls. Focused on refining the parsing logic for the enforce_transcoding option, changing its expected input from a string to a boolean to align with best practices in CLI development and configuration management. This adjustment reduced the risk of misconfiguration and improved automation script compatibility. Leveraged Elixir to implement these changes, emphasizing robust parsing and clear semantics for operators. The work addressed a critical bug, enhancing the overall reliability of transcoding enforcement and contributing to more predictable CLI behavior for end users.
