Worked on enhancing API governance and developer experience in the TileDB-Inc/TileDB-Cloud-Py repository, focusing on role-based access controls and workflow improvements. Expanded the API to introduce a new 'read_write_delete' organization role, supporting more granular permissions. Improved credential traceability by augmenting the AccessCredential model with a unique identifier field. Addressed cross-platform development challenges by updating shell scripts, specifically modifying update_generated.sh to ensure compatibility with GNU sed on macOS, thereby streamlining local setup for contributors. Utilized Python for API development, code generation techniques, and shell scripting to deliver these changes, emphasizing maintainability and smoother collaboration within the project’s development environment.
