During July 2025, Canarypwn upgraded the Discord application dependency in the AOSC-Dev/aosc-os-abbs repository, focusing on build system management and version control using Shell scripting. The work involved updating version references and checksums within repository data and build specifications, ensuring that builds remained reproducible and aligned with the latest stable Discord release. By delivering two targeted commits, Canarypwn reinforced the integrity and security of the build and release pipeline, reducing the risk of failures from outdated dependencies. This approach improved compatibility with upstream changes and maintained continuous integration reliability, reflecting a focused and methodical update to the project’s build infrastructure.
