Developed the Hostinfo Generator Payload for the hak5/usbrubberducky-payloads repository, focusing on automated generation of realistic host data to support testing and simulation across Windows and Ubuntu environments. Leveraging DuckyScript and scripting skills, the payload streamlines the creation of hostnames, IP addresses, and MAC addresses, reducing manual setup and accelerating integration testing. The initial release included a passive Windows OS detection extension, enhancing security validation and QA workflows. By simulating diverse host environments, this work laid the groundwork for more robust security-testing features and improved validation coverage, demonstrating a practical approach to payload development and system simulation within a short timeframe.
