During August 2025, Str3tch developed the Hostinfo Generator Payload for the hak5/usbrubberducky-payloads repository, focusing on automated test data creation for security and QA workflows. Leveraging DuckyScript and scripting skills, Str3tch implemented cross-platform support for Windows and Ubuntu, including a passive Windows OS detection extension. The payload generates realistic hostnames, IP addresses, and MAC addresses, reducing manual setup and accelerating integration testing. This initial release established a foundation for future security-testing features and improved validation coverage in simulated environments. The work demonstrated depth in payload development and system simulation, addressing practical challenges in automated testing and environment setup.
