During June 2025, Pavel Jiranek developed a per-metadata locale API for the gooddata-ui-sdk repository, focusing on backend development and API design using TypeScript. He introduced the setMetadataLocale API, allowing explicit configuration of metadata locales across settings services without altering the general locale. Pavel extended this functionality to multiple backend implementations, including decorated, dummy, recorded, and Tiger backends, supporting organization, user, and workspace settings. This work improved localization control and UI consistency for multi-tenant environments, laying a foundation for future cross-service localization. The solution emphasized traceability and extensibility, reflecting a deep understanding of scalable API and backend architecture.
