Worked on the raexera/nixpkgs repository to deliver Azure Steampipe Plugin integration, enabling SQL-based querying and enhanced data observability for Azure resources. The solution involved authoring a new Nix expression for the Azure plugin and integrating it into the steampipe-packages default, leveraging skills in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and repository management. Additionally, updated maintainer metadata to ensure accurate contributor records and governance. The work improved operational visibility, streamlined onboarding for new contributors, and strengthened traceability through disciplined Git commit practices. Demonstrated proficiency with Nix and Steampipe plugin architecture while aligning with Nixpkgs standards for maintainability and contributor governance.
