Worked on the confidential-containers/cloud-api-adaptor repository, focusing on improving deployment reliability for Fedora environments. Addressed a critical issue in the PodVM setup process by identifying and resolving a missing awk command error in the setup-nat-for-imds.sh script. The solution involved adding gawk as a required dependency, which eliminated manual troubleshooting steps and reduced setup failures. Utilized DevOps practices and Shell scripting to implement and validate the fix, ensuring smoother automated deployments. This targeted bug fix enhanced the stability of PodVM-based workflows, streamlining the configuration process for cloud-api-adaptor users and contributing to more predictable and efficient infrastructure management.
