Developed and delivered MOTO (Mail Order/Telephone Order) payment support across two Shopify repositories, focusing on expanding payment processing options for merchants. In the Shopify/cli repo, introduced a supports_moto flag within the credit card payments extension schema, ensuring accurate handling during configuration deployment and parsing. Updated Shopify/extensions-templates to enable MOTO functionality by advancing the API version and integrating the new configuration. Leveraged TypeScript and Liquid to manage schema definition and configuration management, coordinating changes for consistent MOTO support. This work improved deployment reliability and reduced misconfiguration risks, laying the foundation for broader MOTO adoption within the Shopify ecosystem.
