Using TypeScript and Liquid, Fatai updated API versions and enabled MOTO functionality within extension configurations, expanding payment gateway integration for merchants processing phone orders. His work focused on configuration management and schema definition, improving deployment reliability and reducing misconfiguration risks. These changes laid the foundation for broader MOTO adoption, directly supporting merchants with new payment processing capabilities in Shopify’s ecosystem.
