Worked on the newrelic/open-install-library repository to enhance the Kubernetes installer by adding support for OpenShift environments and standardizing provider configuration for GKE Autopilot. Leveraged DevOps practices and Shell scripting to update CLI commands, ensuring provider settings propagate correctly and that the global provider value is consistently derived from environment-specific flags. Introduced mutual exclusivity validation to prevent conflicting selections between OpenShift and GKE Autopilot, thereby improving installation integrity and reducing misconfiguration risks. These enhancements laid the foundation for broader multi-cloud support and contributed to more reliable deployments across diverse Kubernetes environments, utilizing skills in Kubernetes and scripting throughout the process.
